Accessibility Statement
KleverResolve is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities.
Our Commitment
KleverResolve is committed to providing a website and digital platform that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology. We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards as published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, including those who use assistive technologies such as screen readers, magnifiers, voice recognition software, and alternative input devices.
We recognize that the Texas Republican Party convention process must be accessible to all eligible participants. Our platform is designed to ensure that delegates with disabilities can fully participate in the resolution submission, voting, and convention management process.
Accessibility Features
Full Keyboard Navigation
Every interactive element — buttons, forms, menus, signature pads, and vote controls — is reachable and operable via keyboard alone. Tab, Shift+Tab, Enter, Space, and Escape all work as expected throughout the application.
High Contrast Mode
A high-contrast display option is available for users with low vision. When activated, all text meets or exceeds WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratios (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text) with enhanced borders and visual separation.
Screen Reader Support
All pages use semantic HTML5 elements (nav, main, article, section, aside) with appropriate ARIA roles, labels, and live regions. Dynamic content updates — such as vote results, timer changes, and form submissions — are announced to assistive technology via aria-live regions.
Reduced Motion Support
Users who set 'prefers-reduced-motion' in their operating system or browser will see all animations and transitions disabled automatically. No flashing or rapid movement that could trigger seizures or discomfort.
Accessible Electronic Signatures
Our e-signature component offers both a canvas-based drawing mode and a keyboard-accessible typed signature mode. Users who cannot use a mouse or touchscreen can type their legal name, which is rendered as a signature image with full legal validity under the Texas UETA.
Skip Navigation
A 'Skip to main content' link appears at the top of every page when focused via keyboard, allowing screen reader and keyboard users to bypass repetitive navigation and jump directly to the page content.
Standards & Conformance
Known Limitations
While we strive for full accessibility, some areas may have limitations:
- Canvas-based signature drawing: The freehand drawing signature pad requires mouse or touch input. We provide an alternative keyboard-accessible typed signature option that has equal legal validity.
- PDF downloads: Generated PDF documents may have limited accessibility features. We recommend using the on-screen HTML versions when possible, which are fully accessible.
- Real-time voting display: The large-screen convention display is optimized for visual presentation. Delegates should use the individual voting interface for full accessibility support.
